Eating and Thinking.

Today is my one weird day a week. On Tuesdays I don't have to go into work until 4:00 instead of 9:00 like every other day of the week, so I use the time to sit around in my pajamas, consume massive amounts of random food, and catch up on Big Brother.

It's a bit sad.

I mean, I like having the down time...but it also makes me realize how very few responsibilities I have outside of work. Aside from general stuff like cleaning the house and buying groceries/making food....I don't have anything to do. It's weird. I've been in school for 17 years, complaining about homework...and now I want homework.

Or something else to do.
I set up the wireless internet on my own yesterday, and that was the highlight of my day. It just feels like...I mean is this what people do? I think I need a hobby. Maybe I should join a gym.

Except I'm already a member at a Gold's Gym that I went to once...five months ago.

I could always try a book club. I read a lot, but that just doesn't feel productive. In second grade I won an award for reading the most books in the read-a-thon. That's probably the last time anyone got recognized for reading a lot. Reading is mainly just sitting on your butt, but with a little page turning flare.

This blog is my new project. I'm buying a camera today, and I'm going to start showing everyone all of the amazing food I make out of boredom. I'd like to open a vegan restaurant. That is my dream. Or a vegan food truck. Something to serve vegan food to the masses of meat eaters here in Atlanta. All the vegan restaurants here know me by name. That's how few we have. I love working with people, for people... hence the serving job. But I also love cooking and eating and inventing in the kitchen, and I'd like to educate/nourish the people that I love to serve.

No recipes today. But I promise one every day from here on out.

Gonna take a nap with this guy (Rhett, my puppy) and go get a camera! See you tomorrow.
